Technology is at the core of  our everyday life and it’s not going anywhere. Don’t get scared… GET EDUCATED.

Today in Tech class we dove deep into the possibilities of technology as a tool for learning and sharing ideas with Jesse Miller. For me the main concern with technology is the dangers of oversharing and the very real possibility of the things you post coming back to haunt you. This class has really gotten me interested in learning more about my technological footprint and how to build it appropriately rather than running from it.

some points we got into:

  • being aware of the expectations that you are held to as a professional
  • getting and giving consent for things that are connected to your name going onto the internet
  • responsibility of you as the educator in terms of connecting with students on the internet.
